I have completed my draft for the Jump comic Contest, I drafted it in Adobe Animate which I don't usually do, usually I use an exercise book but this makes it way easier to move panels around and it worked out pretty good.

That one will probably be done in grey pencil.

Kerfuffle Crescendo is still being casted in secret for now. I've been thinking about the visual side of it, I was considering using rigged animation but since most of the scenes are just a few characters standing around talking I'll probably have a few mouth symbols with each viseme and a canned blinking animation and just put a line boil on the bodies. It'll also probably be outlines only and when there is actual animation it'll be on like threes or something. I'd need to average 7 seconds of animation per day to get it done in 2 years*, which aint that bad, I was hitting higher than that on some of the days I was working on MILF MISCHIEF 7. You add animation recycling and a couple lengthy monologues where I pan across a static room into the mix and it's even more plausible.

Everything else I've ever namedropped is still happening (except 'Poker? I Hardly Know'er!' which got absorbed into Kerfuffle Crescendo). 'Breakdown Frame' will be probably be partially re-written again and renamed to 'Good Golly Miss Molly**' and potentially might be a comic instead of a cartoon.

Everything is still gonna happen eventually, I'm just a bit of a bitch with productions, most egregiously (so far) is the year long hiatus between finishing the race scenes in Yahtzee Burst Aquatic and starting the entire rest of the fucking cartoon.

I stole the title for my cartoon, Nyaatural Selection from the Greens On Toast song.

Now there's a music video for that song on Newgrounds and the cat's (heh) out out of the bag.

I would do it again, that title's purrfect :3

Goys and Birls, I have some cooool news.

The script for Kerfuffle Crescendo is complete, down to a cool 81 pages from the first draft's 109.

The first draft was like a bag of very delicious candy that inexplicably had a handful of styrofoam peanuts thrown in; yeah it's not that hard to ignore them but they still shouldn't fucking be there.

The next thing to do will be to finish my big character spreadsheet, I'm gonna have a list of every character, as well as their approx. word count, general personality description, and other relevant miscellanea.

Once that's done, I can get to casting voice actors, don't message me now saying you're interested, I'm gonna go the reverse way to start with, where I'll listen to actors' demo reels and ask them if they would voice a specific character. Once the spreadsheet's more filled out I might switch to the more normal casting format.

I ain't done yet, 2 more cartoons this year, count 'em, 2. One is the new Edgie episode coming really soon, the other is a re-animation of existing audio taken from a film I won't name, coming in December.

In 2025, expect 2 historical parody cartoons, one of them is based on the black metal band Mayhem, the other is based on an ex-president.

I'm also expecting to finish this satirical cartoon I wrote, structured like a news report, like The Onion which I've been a fan of for many years now. This one's quite short so that'll probably be my first output of 2025.

I've started the script for Volleyball Finale Maritime, the sequel to Yahtzee Burst Aquatic, no estimation on completion.

I've gotta figure out what to do with Breakdown Frame, the 20-something page sitcom script I've been sitting on for eons. I might take the scorched earth approach to editing where I cut every joke that isn't the best of the best to get the runtime shorter. From what I remember the script is already quite tight so that might not be very effective. And I can't just cut the animation quality to get it done in a reasonable time because I like the characters too much. I don't think this will be released in 2025, though it may be started that year, I really don't know.

I'm planning on getting Kerfuffle Crescendo into the audio-play state by the end of 2025.

The script for Kerfuffle Crescendo (my feature-length comedy cartoon, if you wanna skip the backstory) is incredibly close to complete, potentially I'll have the first draft complete this month. I'm looking for a few people who are willing to read the thing over and tell me if any of the jokes don't make sense to them. The script will be around ~115 pages (every time I bring this up publicly it gets shorter lol).

I only need a few people for this, people with little experience with comedy will probably be rejected.

After much deliberation, I've decided to start putting cartoons on youtube, the reasons this required deliberation is:

1. Youtube is way more drama-prone than NG
2. I'm concerned looking at the analytics page will influence my creative decisions
3. Youtube comments sections are the fucking worst
4. If my primary motivation becomes cash money I would be dissuaded from showing heads exploding and titties bouncing and characters saying the fuck word

On the other hand, youtube has way more viewers, and if I ever want to make a Patreon/kickstart a cartoon, having a larger influence would be beneficial

I will not be looking at the analytics page or the comments section or ever checking notifications, the plan is to switch to my cartoons account, upload, then run the fuck out of there.

There will be no YT exclusive cartoons or videos. No cartoons will ever go up on YT first.
