[President Worm]

fucking hilarious and really well animated, the one thing that's holding this movie back is your approach to lipsyncing, you've just drawn different visemes (mouth positions) then synced them up to the audio, which is fine, but you could get much more emotion, and reallly emphasise the inflections of certain words by moving the head around as he speaks

has some decent moments of animation, overall needs more inbetweens in a lot of places, I would reccomend watching the Alan Becker animation tutorials

I like the mixed media stuff and it's very creative, but you don't really have anything "normal" that happens to contrast against the wacky crazy shit, also there isn't really any reason for the plot events to happen, they just kinda do. Like there's no reason given for why the guy gets pissed at his own doorbell being rung for example.

i get what ur saying but I feel like the first minute or so is played pretty straight until they get to the neighbors house. I was trying to imply that he is a really angry, bitter person who wouldnt want to be bothered like AT ALL. If I had more time I probably wouldve really exaggerated the way his homelife is more. I was more focused on making jokes and creating a certain vibe with this one but I can see why if ur more interested in narratives this mightve dissapointed you.
I plan on making longer story focused stuff with these characters down the line in comic-form. So, look out for that if that interests you. thx for commenting!

the dialogue and editing makes this feel like an animated adaptation of a youtubepoop, even though I'm pretty sure it isn't

this was funny as hell, animation quality was a little inconsisent, and honestly the lip syncing kinda sucked, but whatever 5 stars anyway

animation could've been a little better at times like some movements could've been smoother with had more inbetweens; some more head movement during lip syncing would've been nice too. I also think you've over-used smear frames a little

I do still really like the cartoon though, the pacing and humour are great, and I think the style and music work really well together
