[Pretty Blood : Rinny]

the only thing this cartoon has going for it is the torture scene, which is really well done. But there's a lot of other artistic decisions which are just bad.

Why the fuck are you showing us two characters text messaging eachother? As opposed to actually calling, other than to skimp out on the voice acting budget?

I haven't a goddamn clue what the plot is, and I have trouble differentiating between the white bear(?) characters.

holy shit those anime noises they keep making gets on my fucking nerves fuck, this alone is probably responsible for 1.5 of my stars dropped.

Despite all the shit I just talked, I appreciate that you've made this, it clearly has some sort of vision behind it.

nice comedy and voice acting and sound design. I especially like the non-sequiturs like 'long dick of the law.'

there are some pretty simple things you could be doing to improve the animation quality, a lot of movements are happening too fast, what you can do is space out the frames after you've already drawn them, and try out different spacings until you find the one that looks the best.

There are also a lot of movements where you've moved part of the drawing around instead of drawing an entire new pose, which looks bad.

I appreciate how this cartoon has bomb-ass animation for bomb-ass animation's sake. You could've drawn half as many frames and it would be just as funny and probably just as well received but you decided to go all out.

the punchline's funny, but the journey it takes to get to it is pretty dull. I don't have an issue with long setups, but comedians will usually make the set-ups themselves funny, look up Norm Macdonald's 'jacques de gatineau' joke, he's got the audience laughing throughout the whole thing even though there's only one real punchline
